How to manage BotMarketing.pro through an AI chat or agent
By BotMarketing.pro published updated
Delegate a new price list, changed opening hours or loyalty setup to an AI assistant in BotMarketing.pro. Describe the result, authorize access to your company and ask the agent to verify its changes. It fills in product cards and settings; you supply business information.
ChatGPT, Codex, Claude and other environments need external connections or authenticated requests for this workflow. Availability depends on your chat’s settings and supported features.
What you can ask an agent to do
An agent can register an account, create a company, and complete its contacts, description, currency, time zone and public card. For an existing company, it reads current data before making requested changes. Each account has one owned company.
Available operations cover categories, products, services, prices, stock, images, catalog order, delivery and booking settings. Agents can configure working hours, loyalty programs and levels, Telegram menus and greetings, company documents, automatic reminders and Instagram reply rules.
MCP and the API let a program discover actions, send data and read results. You do not need to understand their implementation: the agent instructions include connection addresses and working rules.
Start with your existing account
- Open API and agents in your account.
- Edit the short message to describe what should change, where the data comes from and what to preserve.
- Choose “Copy message” and send it to your AI assistant. The button adds detailed connection instructions automatically.
- When prompted, sign in on the BotMarketing.pro website and approve the required permissions. Return to your chat to continue.
Your chat may require adding an external connection once; the agent should explain that step. After authorization, it can inspect your company and perform available operations without asking you to complete catalog forms.
Separate preparation from activation: “create inactive services”, “show proposed changes first”, or “update prices only”. Ask for a readback of saved records, including actions that still need information or permissions.
Ask an agent to register and set up a new company
You can start in your chat before you have a BotMarketing.pro account. Give the agent a business description and a link to the connection guide. For example:
Help me register with BotMarketing.pro and set up my coffee shop. Start with https://botmarketing.pro/llms.txt and https://botmarketing.pro/en/developers/mcp. Perform the available registration and setup steps yourself. Ask for missing information, and ask me to verify email and authorize access when needed. Prepare the company and catalog, leave new items inactive, and verify the result. Do not activate customer messages yet.
The public connection provides registration and reference data. It does not expose company information. After email verification and authorization, the agent continues through the protected connection: it creates the company if missing, retrieves valid reference values, and completes the settings.
Provide real contact details, location, currency and time zone. The assistant should ask for information it lacks rather than inventing it. If you already have an account, use that account instead of registering again.
Five examples of specific tasks
Add services from a price list
Add the services from my attached price list to the “Care” category. Keep the names, prices and durations from the file. Do not change existing services or their prices. Leave new items inactive, list the created cards, and identify missing information.
Reading attachments depends on your chat’s capabilities. If files are unavailable, provide the information as text. Images can be uploaded separately through the agent and attached to the relevant cards.
Change opening hours
Set company opening hours to Monday–Friday, 09:00–18:00, Saturday, 10:00–14:00, and Sunday closed. Keep the current time zone and separate service schedules. Read the settings after saving and show the result.
Prepare a loyalty program
Prepare an inactive loyalty program for five visits. Ask me about the reward and conditions before configuring it. Keep existing programs and levels unchanged. Show the saved rules before activation.
The loyalty programs lesson explains the available approaches. Give your assistant agreed program rules so that it configures the offer you intend to make to customers.
Prepare a paused reminder
Prepare an automatic reminder for my bot’s customers. Clarify the audience, message and schedule, then save it paused. Keep other reminders unchanged and do not start sending. Show the final settings.
Read more about choosing an audience and frequency in the lesson on automatic messages.
Complete a coffee shop’s initial settings
Inspect my coffee shop settings and list missing information for the business card, catalog and opening hours. Fill it in using information I provide. Preserve completed fields and do not create the company again. Leave messages and new programs inactive.
What the owner still needs to do
You verify a new account’s email, sign in on the website and authorize the agent. You also supply information the assistant does not know and decide on prices, rewards and message activation. You do not need to send an existing account password into a chat to connect through website sign-in.
Authorized connections and their permissions are listed in API and agents, where you can revoke access. A separate API key is available for your own application: it has no expiration and works until revoked. A normal chat connection through website sign-in does not require creating that key.
Check the boundaries before making changes
Agents operate within your current plan’s features and limits. A verified owner authorizes the company connection; read and write permissions are separate. Instagram authorization uses the existing browser sign-in. Activating a bot, reminder or reply rule can start customer communication, so specify when you want preparation only.
The customer API currently excludes order and reservation processing, CRM operations, staff management, financial transactions, customer balance adjustments, one-off bulk messaging and Instagram post publication. A feature being available in the account interface does not mean an agent can control it.
Begin with a small, verifiable task, such as adding a few services or changing one schedule. Compare the result with your request. Once that workflow is familiar, delegate a larger setup while keeping control of your data and automation.
