Managing esoteric enquiries across Instagram and Telegram
By BotMarketing.pro published updated
A visitor asks about a written reading under an Instagram post. You discuss the format in Direct, then they arrive in Telegram saying, “I'd like a consultation.” Do they still want the written service, or a live call? Sending the entire price list makes them repeat the conversation; offering a calendar slot immediately may book the wrong service.
An esoteric practice handling enquiries from several channels needs a route map: where each offer leads, who answers, and what context travels with the client. Below are a practical map, BotMarketing's supported routes and two handoff messages. All people, labels and dates in the example are fictional. Services are described as symbolic or educational activities, without diagnostic, healing or reliable prediction claims.
Give each entry point one next action
Use current service cards as the place to check scope, price and terms. A written reading, a live call and a self-guided resource need separate descriptions. The reading has a delivery deadline; the call has a duration and time zone; the resource has contents and access terms. Buying a file does not include a personal session.
Link a post about a written reading to that format's terms. Link a question about appointments to the live service. Use the full catalogue when someone is still comparing options. Sending a person into a feed of old posts makes them reconstruct your current offer.
- Written-reading post or Reel → written-service terms. Describe the deliverable, such as an audio response to one agreed question, and turnaround. Do not ask for personal circumstances in public comments.
- Direct enquiry about a format → an answer in Direct. Resolve the selection question first. Offer Telegram for ordering and explain what the move helps them do.
- Profile or your website → current service catalogue. Include another contact route for someone who does not use Telegram.
- Referral or another messaging app → manual reply with the relevant link. If the person stays there, assign a responder and record the next action manually.
A BotMarketing bot link can open a specific service. Use the link to the correct card and test it from a normal client account. Opening it does not place an order or carry an Instagram conversation into Telegram.
Know which enquiries enter the workspace
BotMarketing's Requests section brings supported incoming enquiries into a working queue. It does not collect every conversation across the internet. An enquiry, an order and a reservation are separate records: “I'm interested” does not establish payment or a confirmed appointment.
| Entry point | BotMarketing support | Practitioner's next action |
|---|---|---|
| Incoming Instagram DM | Creates or updates a request with a working account connection, even without a matching auto-reply | Open the request, reply within Instagram's permitted window and check delivery |
| Instagram post comment | A matching active rule can send a private reply; the comment alone does not open a request | Send terms or the relevant link; use an available manual route if delivery fails |
| Unrecognised text in the ordinary Telegram bot chat | Enters Requests when forwarding these messages to staff is enabled | Enable the setting, test an incoming message and assign a responder |
| Mini App service order or time request | Creates the corresponding order or reservation request | Review scope and time; confirm the arrangement separately |
| Personal Telegram account, other messengers or email | No promise of automatic import of all private conversations; Telegram Business greetings do not forward them to staff | Reply in the original channel, offer a move or manage the enquiry manually |
| Catalogue link on an external website | Shows services; clicking it is neither a message nor an order | Test the next step; verify any separate form's connection before relying on it |
Instagram needs an eligible professional account, a working connection and permissions. Auto-replies depend on active rules and available subscription limits; delivery remains subject to platform rules. Staff replies and automation have different conditions. Human Agent is not an unlimited promotional messaging route.
Incoming DMs in one Instagram conversation update one request; a new inbound message after closure can reopen it. That is not automatic identity matching between Instagram and Telegram based on a similar name or profile picture. Do not tell a client their entire history has already moved.
Carry the service context, not a second intake form
A handoff needs the service name, original channel, unresolved logistical question and chosen reply channel. It does not need a relationship history, photographs of other people or health information. Operational messages may be visible to staff handling the enquiry; do not describe a shared work conversation as accessible only to the practitioner.
Send the first message in Direct after the client's question, adding the tested link to the selected service in your actual reply.
You asked about a written reading for one question. The link explains scope, price and turnaround. If you'd like to request it in Telegram, please write: “Written reading, coming from Instagram, checking the delivery deadline.” No personal background is needed yet. If moving is inconvenient, we can continue arranging it here.
The second message acknowledges the handoff without claiming that the two accounts or conversations have been merged.
I can see your request for the written service and your deadline question. Are you looking for an audio response rather than a live call? Once we've agreed the format, we'll continue this enquiry here in Telegram. You don't need to open another request in Instagram; let me know if you'd prefer to stay there.
Before changing or releasing an existing paid order, verify ownership using your established process. A matching name and a description of the service are not identity proof. Do not disclose someone else's history or merge records on that basis.
Assign one responder to the next action
In a fictional example, Jamie asks about a written reading in Instagram. An assistant sends the terms; after Jamie chooses to move, the practitioner clarifies the format in Telegram. They agree on an audio response by 26 November 2026, 18:00 Europe/London. This is a delivery deadline, not a live appointment.
A short working note could look like this. It is a manual handoff example, not a list of automatically populated BotMarketing fields:
- Entry: Instagram DM about the written-reading post.
- Format: audio response to one agreed question.
- Continuation: Telegram at the client's choice; arrival acknowledged.
- Responder: practitioner; assistant does not send a second offer in Direct.
- Next action: confirm scope and order terms; agreed deadline is 26 November, 18:00 Europe/London.
Close the original enquiry after continuation is confirmed or the person declines. A sent link is not evidence that they reached an order. If they have not moved, answer the original unresolved question; do not turn the handoff into a promotional sequence.
Request status helps coordinate replies; order status tracks fulfilment. Keep details such as “waiting for format clarification” in a working note where no dedicated field exists. Do not mark a service fulfilled merely to close an old conversation.
Test the route before adding another channel
From a normal client account, follow post → terms → question → voluntary handoff → order. Repeat the journey without moving to Telegram. Check that the assigned person sees the question, the link matches the service card, replies arrive and nobody sends a duplicate response elsewhere.
Also test a comment with no subsequent DM, a disabled Instagram rule and Telegram with message forwarding switched off. These cases reveal where manual responses are needed. Fix the missing next action in an existing route before adding more sources.
For enquiries that stall before service selection, see handling the first-message follow-through. After fulfilment, apply separate clarification and agreed follow-up rules. This workflow keeps the selected service and responsibility clear when a client changes channels.
